Akaliza has a chronic medical history dominated by Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) since 2010 and Hypertension (HTN) since 2012, both of which have resulted in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Stage 3b and a history of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) status post-single-vessel stent placement in 2021. He has a severe allergy to Penicillin, resulting in anaphylaxis. His current daily medications include Metformin 1000mg twice daily. Significant past surgeries include a Cholecystectomy in 2015 and an appendectomy in childhood. He is current on all major immunizations and had a normal Colonoscopy in 2023.
